How Do I Clean My Drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. Be sure to have all the tools you need. Be sure to have everything you require before you begin any task. You will need a soft toothbrush (or a brush) and a cleaning product (we recommend WD40).
  2. Take out the battery pack. The first thing you need to do is remove the battery from the drone's bottom. It is easy to locate the battery under your propeller. You should be careful to not lose any screws in the process of removing the propeller.
  3. All parts must be removed. Next, take out all the parts on the drone's bottom. Make sure they're not loose or damaged as they might fall off during cleaning.
  4. Use a cleaner. Now it is time to clean the drone. We recommend using WD40 for cleaning. Use the cleaner to spray your drone's entire surface. Be sure to get in between all components. Before you attach everything, let it dry completely.
