Iran's drone program is inspired by the Predator, which is an American Air Force model. Shahed 129 is a 2010-launched aircraft that was modeled after Predator. Iran built an additional airstrip at Jakigur, in 2015. The Shahed 129 was among the few drones to bear the American action hero's name.

Mohajer-2

The Mohajer-2 Mohajer-2 version is an improved Mohajer. It has greater operational range, navigation, and is faster. The Iranian Air Force designed the Mohajer-2 and took production over from the original Mohajer. The Mohajer-2 measured 9.6ft in length with a 12.5ft wingspan. It used a WAE-342-2 stroke 2-stroke engine, producing 25 horsepower, and a pusher propeller. Its fuselage featured straight mainplanes near the midships and wing tips that clipped.

The Iranian government has successfully converted its Ababils and Mohajers into advanced UAVs. UN Peacekeepers quizzed Iran's government over the presence of drones near Sudan in 2008. In 2008, Iran replied that the drones are Zagils. Two of the drones were shot down by rebels in Sudan. Venezuela was then able to acquire the Mohajer-2 UAVs but has not been capable of detecting them.

Karrar interceptor

The Karrar Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles and one-way missiles is called. The drone can operate at high speeds and at high altitudes thanks to its wing design. The drone can carry out both types of missions as well as record images of ground targets. It can also carry munitions. It is believed to be able to carry a 500-lb unitary explosive bomb as well as two smaller weapons. If the Israelis were to shoot one down, they would kill both people and drones in the vicinity.

The Karrar unmanned air vehicle is a cloned of the Beechcraft MQM-107 Streaker. It was used by the United States as a military target. The US exported it to Iran during Shah's rule. The Iranians reverse-engineered it to create the Karrar. The drone can reach speeds up to 500 mph. It can also carry 250-pound antiship missiles and a GPS directed bomb.
